| The Howards Grove Education Foundation is classified as a public charity under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The idea for the foundation was spawned by the Howards Grove Advancement Association in 2009 to provide for community advocacy and financial support from individuals, businesses, civic organizations and other sources. The Foundation will evaluate requests and provide funds beyond the normal operating budget for educational programs and activities for local schools. |

Contributions made to the foundation are deductible under Section 170 of the code. This applies to bequests, devises, transfers or gifts. Legal documentation is available by contacting one of our board members. |
 The Foundation will make financial and other resources available to assist the School District in enhancing educational opportunities and related activities that are not ordinarily provided through its operating budget.

Encourage well-rounded students through civic, multicultural, agricultural, artistic, athletic, social and career-related activities.
Encourage excellence in teaching through faculty development.
Support a positive school climate by providing supplemental equipment and facilities.
